Detail Love | Japanese Tradition @ Onitsuka Tiger
Onitsuka Tiger is kind of a guarantee for exclusive premium booth deco. For this years Winter Bright Gordon Nowak and the OT-Team set up an impressive, oversized wooden shoe sculpture inspired by Tansus, traditional hand-made japanese sideboards with much love for details.A Tansu is more than just a cupboard, it often has applications like hidden spaces or cryptic symbols that tell something about your personality or profession. The hole booth shows lots of detail love, such as we know it from our godd friends Onitsuka. We recommend a visit at their booth 241.
Habitat and Alien Workshop | Deck Designs
With their second skate shoe collection Habitat presents a very nice combination of function and design. Smooth colorways such as the "Insecta Series" come up with three different prints on the sole and the fitting deck. Alien Workshop (Burton for two years now) proudly presents a Collab with the Andy Warhol Foundation. ten Pro's like Steve Berra, Mikey Taylor or Jason Dill chose their favourite Warhol print to show off their own personal Warhol.
The Zonders X Monkeydrive
The Collabo of Monkeydrive and the Zonders fructifies. In the foyer the guys present some live printing of a special all-over print, exclusivly designed by the Zonders for the BRIGHT. Go & see how they're doing their thing!
Night of the drunken Proms | Bright Meet'n'Greet feat. Karaoke Actions
Last nights options to go out and get drunk were eclectic: from well-known Sauna-club Mokambo to Enzo's Pudel Party to Pic Dama in the redlight district, depending on which kind of tea cup anyone prefers. Or better to say which kind of beer bottle. But at least we all took the chance and followed the Bright hosts invitation to the traditional meet'n'greet to start the evening. Gambas, Becks and Karaoke made it an unforgetable last BRIGHT dinner. Our secret karaoke star of the night was phantastic photographer Rufus who prooved that IT IS possible to be native english speaking and loosing the mother tongue within two strophes of Berry's Johnny B. Good. Respect, (B)Exton! With lots of Becks and Held Vodka we celebrated this ending era of BRIGHT in FFM - the rest of the night everyone cut his own path to one of the parties...THANKS TO ALL OF YOU, LOVELY PEEPS!
