Drop Dead

Two lovely ladies and a colorful collection, that's what comes at first sight at the Drop Dead booth. The former shirt label comes up with a collection cute'n'bloodthirsty comic styles - and you can have them then on all you can think of: shirts, vests, college jackets, caps, bags, accessories. The founder of Drop is a british musician named Oli Syces of the band "Bring me the Horizon" who founded his own label in 2005 based on the experience of not being satisfied with what he found in stores. Said and easily done.

Welcome to the green booth | Planet Earth

Entering the booth of Planet Earth feels like coming into a different clime. With their lawn turf on the floor they have a really unique booth decoration at Bright Tradeshow. The former skateboard hardware brand has changed their concept since they founded in 1993: a wide streetwear collection based on only organic cotton products, 100% recyceled PET and only using colors which are free of aldehydes. Benjamin Bernicke of Planet Earth told us: " We have a great feedback of our visitors people are really impressed by the booth. Even TV came in and broadcoasted us!" Happy to hear that - drop by at booth nr. 113!

Arty Vibes @ Bright Bar

Damn, what a day, what an evening: most successful Bright Kick-off you can think of, checking out Torstraße with Vans Vault Launch & Patta Burgers and finally some Hawks and Nerds. Enough? NOT!  The best way to fade out such a packed day is definately to turn back to Torstraße and step in Bright Bar at Fleischerei. There you have kind of the finest art curation to imagine with Banksy, Nomad, Jon R. Sanders & Ben Ross, Leif Podhajsky and Project Zoltar in a nice bar surrounding.
As a welcome-activity and parallel to Fashion Week, the streetwear tradeshow BRIGHT has set up a novel meetingpoint for Street-Afficionados: THE BRIGHT BAR, opening from Thursday through Saturday (8th -10th July) from 9.30 am till late. The former Butchery “Fleischerei” on Torstrasse 116 was renovated in typical Berlin underground manner: tiled walls and concrete floors meet grungy courtyard aesthetics. The centrepiece is a small but mighty exhibition of gripping works from the street community: Jon Sanders & Ben Ross, Zoltar & Nike, and especially from Down Under: Leif Podhajsky Hosting the opening on Thursday, July 8th from 9pm, will be Ingrid Junker and Katharina Kemmler, the creative minds behind the project. Dirk Bonn, Bianca Checker, Karl-Oskar (Woodwood) und Mans (Rollerboys) will ensure great tunes and good spirits.
A shuttle service by Makia will transport guests to and from BRIGHT and the BAR.

Makia & Les Ettes on Tour(-bus)

Okai. You got the bigass Max-Schmeling-Halle with Hawks, Nerds and Co on one hand. And like a hundred meters to the right there you got a really cool oldschool 70ies Tourbus with crazy Finns and beautiful french girls, nnice tunes and lots of: FINLANDIA. Motto of the evening: "Tony who? We got vodka!" This means Makia and Les Ettes invited to their specialspecialspecial bus party in the park. Those pictures are telling more than thousand words (Thanks to Jarno!) - conclusion: best party of a bright summer night...until the uninvited guys in green came up at 1o'clock.
