Around the world | Knocking on Wood Wood
It's their first time at BRIGHT and their first time in Frankfurt. And we are really happy to say that after Paris and New York, Frankfurt and Bright are the last city and tradeshow that Wood Wood are exhibiting at. We feel so fortunate! So stop by booth 299 and give our newcomers from Copenhagen some feedback on their superb new "Tourist" collection.
'...the night at BRIGHT starts at 4 pm...' | Makia pt. II
Etienne did it. Eric did it. Totti did it. And the Jalovina was with them. No need for any further comments.
Brightly united | Asics x Toykio
It was last Thursday when Gordon from Asics and Tom from Toykyo decided to put up their BRIGHT booths together. The result is a nice collabo of toys'n'sneakers. Toykyo, a distributor to make plastic or vinyl toy-dreams come true curated some of their plastic friends color-fitting to the Asics collection. Nice one, guys, this kind of common thinking is what we expect of the BRIGHT Brigade.
Guillaum Mocquin rocks the "Element Another Trick On The Wall" Contest
What a tricky ride! What started as a casual session was quickly whittled down to a battle between Mr. Slayer-Slasher Heiko Rohrbach and Mr. Ripped-Boxers Guillaum Mocquin. Other participants took the chance to show off some of their homegrown stuff, and with ages ranging from 12 to 33 we saw lots of different styles. But in the end it was French Rider Guillaum Macquin (Element) who took the category of best trick with his f***ing awesome Frontside Roll-In.
The longest transfer turned out to be a tie between the German rider Rohrbach and Mocquin with a distance of 6,80m. The prize money of 3000€ was split into 1500€ for the best trick and 750€ each for the longest transfer. Tomorow at 2 o'clock there will a wallride session for anyone who has the balls to take part. C'mon Dudes, put on your shit kickers and flip some tricks!
