Ramen Burger - The Movie

New York City is a real hotspot for fast and street food both traditional as well as experimental and New Yorkers sure go all out when something new tickles their fancy (see also “cronuts“). Therefore, it may not be much of a surprise that chef Keizo Shiamoto hit it big with his “Ramen Burger“, exactly the kind of fusion dish foodies seem to love. And it’s kinda fitting that there’s a movie about the man and his culinary invention: “Biting into the Ramen Burger“ by Michael Fox and Edit Beach chronicles the lightning quick ascent of the savory, meaty delight from curio to big success and will premiere at this month’s New York Food Film Festival. It’s 50 $ for the screening and a burger, but if you can’t be there, just make your own. (Souchak)
