Chester Watson's Ill Monotone

Recently, at some BBQ, someone claimed that really dope rap simply needs minimalist beats and a dope flow, and that's it. No decor, no tricks. And I guess whoever said that was right: Chester Watson's "Act IV | Scene IV-V-VII" has that steady, ill monotone like Guru, and even at a whopping 9-minutes it never gets boring. (rnk)
