Iriedaily : Keepin It Wheel
Now that the bike season is back in full swing, Berlin's finest - Iriedaily - just announced a new cycling-inspired mid-season collection entitled "Fight For Your Ride", featuring some fine mesh and reflecting materials... have a look below and check the lookbook over here. It also includes a cooperation with the guys from Rad Race, who are known for organizing some insane cycling races.
One can easily tend to believe that the wheel was basically invented because people are generally lazy – which almost automatically implies that walking from A to B or carrying things by yourself sucks. And, yes, holding this view would actually make you at least half-right in an instant. Others though are convinced that the wheel was invented just to create the bike as the next logical conclusion, because it is rather evident that in the very majority of cases this synergy will lead to wonderful things that can only happen when people and bikes come together. Won’t happen with cars. Or planes. Dammit, it is most likely that these moments won’t even happen when people meet people.
Riding your bike shouldn’t be about the latest quantum jump in material or what shoes would suit the colour of your frame, it should be about where it takes you and what you’ll see along the way. It shouldn’t be about treating it like a necessary lifestyle accessory but understanding it as common sense. So keep your eyes open and embrace to idea of (re)sharpen your senses again. Try your best to capture a moment of ultimate momentum, and distill it forever. Freedom, adventure and friendship will reward you.
Yours truly,
Iriedaily
