London LOVE

"Come and skate an exact replica of the LOVE Park bump-to-bin, hosted by Josh Kalis," says the invite for what looks like this week's greatest skate event: Featuring LOVE action and a photo exhibit, make sure to also stay tuned for a special Kalis remix clip to celebrate the release of the upcoming Slam City x DC Kalis Slim Lite...

Spread The Love is a series of events we have organised with DC to celebrate our upcoming collaboration release (more info about this project very soon). We are excited to be spreading the love next week. When we were approached to work with DC on a shoe it was a no brainer to choose Josh Kalis' silhouette. He is a firm favourite here at Slam and embodies a very special time in skateboarding. For this reason we were overwhelmed when organising things to find out that he was keen to connect with us on this side of the pond and that Mike Blabac will be joining him. This has made all of our ideal scenarios an approaching reality. On Friday 3rd March please join us at our Covent Garden store from 7pm. We have a photo exhibition planned that has been shot and curated by Mike Blabac which honours some of Love Park's most iconic moments. This is going to be amazing so get it in your diaries. The following morning on Saturday 4th March Josh Kalis and Mike Blabac will be doing a signing in store from 11:00am - 12:30pm so this is your chance to meet these two legends before the main event kicks off over the river. The moment when Josh tre flipped the can at Love Park was captured by Mike and forever imprinted on our memory banks. So much so we wanted to recreate this moment in time for all to share. From 2pm an exact replica of the Love park bump to bin set up will be skateable at Southbank and there will be a jam hosted by Kalis with prizes and good vibes guaranteed. Be sure not to miss out on any of these exclusive events. Please come and help us spread the love, it's going to be epic!
